Just over a year ago, Qufaro announced its intention to help deliver the cyber workforce necessary to protect British citizens and organisations against the increasing threat of cyber-attack. The first element of this was to develop and deliver the UK’s first Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in cyber security.
The Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) is partnering with Qufaro at Bletchley Park to give free student membership to the top graduates of the online CyberEPQ course.
Students embarking on cyber-security careers will thereby have access to the focal point for the information security profession in the UK. Qufaro and its lecturers, trainers and students will also benefit by becoming part of the IISP Academic Partnership Programme.
Deloitte is sponsoring the fees of hundreds of students for the 2017 Qufaro online CyberEPQ. Enrolment opens on 23 October 2017 and will continue until the end of November.
The online CyberEPQ is already opening doors into further study and careers in the cyber-security industry for the graduates of the first course which was launched last year. The CyberEPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is equivalent to an AS-level certificate awarded in UK schools, and is certified by City & Guilds. It counts for UCAS credits in university applications.
Over the next year QUFARO will be announcing a host of exciting courses, initiatives and programmes. To be the first to receive these updates, register your details with us today.
