The Vision

The vision for the National College of CyberSecurity

  • to be national in reach ā€“ with students enrolling from all parts of the UK
  • to be selective in intake ā€“ for gifted and talented students in the disciplines of cyber security and cryptography preparing to enter Key Stage 5 education
  • to focus on educating students aged 16-19
  • to provide residential facilities to enable gifted and talented students from every part of the UK to participate
  • to be free for students so that talent is the priority
  • to establish unique content partnerships with universities specialising in cyber security
  • to act as a feeder to those universities offering degrees with a high cyber security content.

In line with the UK Government's National Cyber Security Strategy, our aim is to grow the national cyber security talent pool by finding and developing more than 100 16-19-year olds each year from across the country. We will provide support to enable them to enter university, apprenticeships and employment.

With Qufarosā€™s base at Bletchley, imaginations are being fired to build on the world-changing work that began there three generations ago.
